How many auxiliary cameras can I connect to one vehicle?
You must use a USB hub to connect auxiliary cameras to the RZ1 Hub. If using a non-powered USB hub, you can connect up to 2 cameras. With a powered USB hub, you can support up to 4 cameras.
Can I view live video from these cameras?
Yes, you can stream live video or capture a snapshot from each connected auxiliary camera through the Map.
Do I need to configure anything when plugging in the camera?
Yes. To view media from auxiliary cameras in the Fleet App, go to Edit Vehicle (accessible from the Map or Vehicles page), then open the Settings tab. Under Auxiliary Cameras, select the number of auxiliary cameras installed on that vehicle.
Are the cameras weatherproof?
Yes. Both the Side and Rectangle USB Cameras are rated IP68 — fully dust proof and waterproof, suitable for permanent outdoor installation.
What happens in low-light or night conditions?
Each camera includes Infrared (IR) LEDs that activate automatically in dark environments to ensure visibility and recording quality.
Can I mount the camera inside the vehicle?
Yes. Both camera models can be installed inside the vehicle, including in the cabin or cargo area, as long as USB cable routing to the RZ1 Hub is possible.
Do I need external power or drivers?
No. Power and data are provided over the USB cable. No separate power supply is required.
What’s the difference between the Side and Rectangle models?
The Side Camera has a compact, dome-shaped design ideal for flush mounting. The Rectangle Camera includes a bracket and hood, making it better suited for rear or adjustable external mounting.
