Model: AD21
Vendor: Asiatelco Technologies Inc. (A-Tracs)
Availability: Available

The AD21 is a plug-and-play cellular tracking device that connects directly to a vehicle's OBD-II port. It delivers real-time* GPS location, configurable ping rates for moving and stationary vehicles, and end-to-end fleet intelligence, from route optimization to driving behavior monitoring and asset protection, with minimal-downtime deployment and no hardwiring required.
*Subject to available cellular network connectivity.
What it does
The AD21 tracks powered vehicles in real time* through the platform. Because it draws power directly from the vehicle's OBD-II port, there are no batteries to manage and no wiring to run. The built-in supercapacitor keeps the device powered briefly if the vehicle connection is lost, giving it enough time to send a final power-loss or tamper alert.
Plug-and-play OBD-II installation means minimal downtime for deployment, vehicles stay in service while you expand coverage across your fleet. Once connected, the AD21 feeds the platform with continuous* location data that supports route optimization, driving behavior monitoring, and asset protection from a single platform.
*Subject to available cellular network connectivity.

Best for
- Passenger vehicles, vans, or light trucks in a mixed fleet
- Fleets that need quick, tool-free deployment with no electrical work or minimal vehicle downtime
- Operations that want end-to-end fleet intelligence, route visibility, driving behavior monitoring, and asset protection, in one platform
- Situations where tamper detection or power-loss alerting is important
Installation
The AD21 plugs directly into the vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic port, no tools, no wiring, no mounting hardware required.
To install:
- Locate the OBD-II port (typically under the dashboard, driver's side).
- Plug the AD21 firmly into the port until it seats securely.
- Confirm the device powers on.
- The device begins reporting automatically once connected.
