The RZ1 Vehicle Hub is designed with cutting-edge technology to ensure robust functionality, seamless connectivity, and reliable performance.

  1. GNSS Connector: The device includes a built-in GPS antenna for precise satellite signal reception and accurate location tracking. The GNSS connector is available for cases where the device is installed in an area of the vehicle with poor GPS reception, allowing users to connect an external GPS antenna to improve signal strength.
  2. LED Indicators:
    • Power LED: Shows the system's power status.
    • GNSS LED: Displays GPS connectivity and satellite acquisition status.
    • CELL LED: Indicates the cellular network status.
  3. PWR/OBD Port: Facilitates power and data collection from the vehicle's OBDII or J1939 diagnostic port.
  4. I/O Expansion Port: Offers optional input/output expansion for advanced use cases such as connecting additional sensors.
  5. CAM Port: Dedicated port for the RZ1 Camera, ensuring synchronized video and data transmission.
  6. USB Port: Provides optional USB expansion for firmware updates or additional hardware integrations.

  • Accelerometer: Measures linear acceleration to detect and log events such as harsh braking, rapid acceleration, or collisions.
  • Gyroscope: Tracks rotational movement, enhancing event detection and adding context to driving behavior analysis.
  • Integrated 128GB Sandisk eMMC Storage: Durable, high-capacity storage for securely retaining telematics data and video files.
  • Telit PLS83-X 4G Module with GPS and AGPS: Ensures reliable cellular connectivity and precise location tracking, even in challenging environments.
  • Backup Battery: Provides auxiliary power to ensure uninterrupted operation during power loss, enabling continuous data logging and video recording.
  • MiniSD Card Slot Expansion: Allows additional storage capacity for video and data, offering flexibility in long-term usage scenarios.
  • SIM Card: Facilitates cellular connectivity, ensuring real-time data transmission and remote system management.
