Now that you’ve confirmed your equipment, it’s time to mount the auxiliary cameras and connect them to the RZ1 Hub using the USB cable.
Mount the Cameras
Each auxiliary camera has a different mounting method. Follow the instructions below based on the model you’re installing.
USB Side Camera
- Attach the mounting base plate to the vehicle surface using screws.
- Place the camera into the designated circular slot in the base plate.
- Adjust the angle to point the camera in the desired direction.
- Cover the assembly with the top bracket and secure it using the provided screws.
- Ensure the camera’s lens has a clear, unobstructed view.
Tip
This camera is ideal for side-view coverage or interior (cabin/cargo)
monitoring.
USB Rectangle Camera
- Position the camera using the adjustable bracket attached to the housing.
- Mount the bracket to a flat surface using screws, or secure it with heavy-duty zip ties if needed.
- Adjust the camera’s angle using the side screws on the bracket.
- Ensure the built-in protective hood is positioned to shield the lens from glare, rain, or debris.
- Ensure the camera’s lens has a clear, unobstructed view.
Tip
This camera is commonly used for rear-facing views or exterior side panels.
