Alert Types – RoadEazy

Alerts can be configured to monitor specific behaviors or conditions across your fleet. Each alert type has its own configuration options to help you tailor notifications to your needs. Below is a list of currently supported alert types and their available settings.

You can mix alert types with additional filters like time windows, geofences, and asset selection when creating an alert. For setup instructions, see How to Add or Edit an Alert.

Available Alert Types

Alert Type	Description	Configurable Options
Safety	Triggers an alert when a driver performs a risky behavior detected by the RZ1 device.	Select one or more safety events - View full list of supported safety events.
Geofence	Triggers an alert when an asset enters or exits a designated geofence.	Configure the geofences you want to monitor for entry or exit events.
Fault Codes	Triggers an alert when a fault code or check engine light is detected by the RZ1 device.	Toggle alert on any fault code and/or alert on check engine light.
Health	Triggers an alert when a device health status changes.	-
Idling	Triggers an alert when a vehicle transitions into an idling state.	-
Movement	Triggers an alert based on the vehicle’s movement state (Stopped or Moving) and a defined duration.	Set movement duration threshold (in minutes).
